I went to a bridal salon about 8 hours from my home with my family. I found the dress I love, but they remove all of the labels and refused to tell me the designer. The dress is in my budget, so price is not a concern-I am just nervous about purchasing it from this salon (terrible reviews) and not trying it on again (they wouldn't let me take a picture in it and I don't really remember what I look like in it). I can not find it ANYWHERE online. Maybe someone can help?

Designer: unknown

Cut: Mermaid/trumpet-esque

Material: lace applique over lay (lighter color) and the base of the dress was chiffon like in a rose/petal color. The back had buttons that went down the entire train (semi-cathedral/cathedral). I am to the point of paying someone to help me find it because the staff there has been SO rude.

It looks similar to these dresses

I wouldn't buy my dress from them. If they're so worried about you shopping around, maybe they should price competitively and provide excellent service, which they clearly aren't given their reviews.

The boutique I bought my dress from was very proud of all the designers they carried and when they gave me a tour of all the dresses told me as much as they could about each designer and what other brides like/dislike about them. I think it's important to know who the designer is and be able to research the quality of the dress before buying it.

I wouldn't buy a dress that I didn't know the designer/where it came from first.

See if you can sneak a picture in the dressing room. They don't deserve your business. Post a pic here and maybe someone will recognize it. I don't think anyone that doesn't allow pictures deserves business. In fact, I only purchased from vendors who would allow me to take pictures.

ETA: bring your inspiration photos to a different salon and see if they can help you locate the dress.
