I finally got my ring after about three months of Jared's ordering the ring and then messing up the center stone setting and having to fix it, but I am starting to have guilty doubts. It's from the Neil Lane Bridal collection. I figured if I'm going to have doubts, I should address them before the thirty day period while I can still take it back... But I have no clue whether I want to take it back or not. I do love the design, but I have two problems with it, the first being that I feel like it looks small on my hand, especially with the slim cut of the Marquis diamond. The second is how much it sticks UP. The setting itself rises up before you even inset the diamond, so it looks thin but tall. The height tends to catch on stuff... do you get used to that?

Anyway, I was hoping you ladies had some opinions.... Is some ring doubt normal?

I have a solution. I have a marquise cut diamond on a vintage, Mil grain band with channel cut diamonds as well. However mine does not stick up quit as much. I love yours so much more so, you give me yours and you can have mine...i will even throw in the matching wedding band!!!!

Kidding...my husband would kill me.....But if you don't feel comfortable with the ring you should definitely look around and see if you like anything else before the 30 day period. But my Opinion is don't ever give that ring up cause it so so gorgeous.

My ring is pretty high up too and I just have to get used to it...I've bumped it a few times though and am worried that it might get knocked out of the setting. However, I do love the way it catches the light and sparkles. I try to just take my ring off when I'm sleeping, showering, or doing dishes so I think that sort of helps.
