Got our marriage license today!!!!

Im in PA & were going next week. Wedding is May 12th & it's valid for 60 days

Congrats! We get ours tomorrow! In my state it's only good for 20 days!

I'm sure that's exciting to have but Texas marriage certificate is only good for a certain amount of time so I wouldn't be able to get it until 30 maybe 60 days

I think ours is 60 days too (Bucks County, PA). We're going to go about 3-4 weeks ahead of time, I think. Our wedding is the end of June.

View Quoted Comment In Illinois, a marriage license is valid for just 60 days after it is issued. We could get ours now for our May 5th wedding, but we are waiting until April.

How exciting! I have to wait until 60 days before. And I’m planning on getting it then too. So I’m with you the earlier the better. When I did my make up trial it made it seem more real, also we just booked our honeymoon and it also was liek wow this happening. Another moment I had was when I received out cake topper. It’s the first thing That has mr. and Mrs. Melendez. And it made me think wow soon I will be Mrs. Melendez! So excited!

I have no idea how long ours are good for. We plan to go at the end of May/ Beg of June.

We are in Georgia with no expiration date so we are going to get ours next week! I'll love having another item checked off the to-do list. Another reason we are doing ours early is you never know what will happen! My brother got married in Baltimore in March and waited until the week of the wedding. Well a big snow storm hit and the courthouse was closed for 3 days. Luckily it opened the day before the wedding so were able to get the license. Don't wait until the last minute!
