Got our marriage license today!!!!

Why did you get it so soon?? In our state we can't get ours till September. I wouldn't want to early, i'd be terrified of losing it! LOL

We got ours (also in MD heyyyy lol) in February for our May wedding and it was on my birthday so it made it super real. It is active for 6 months in my county but not sure about PG County. I wanted it early so I could check it off the list lol.

Oh wow! In FL the certificats are only good for 60 days, so we'll be getting ours in mid April for our wedding in Mid May.

We got ours early too. I've ready it's the number 1 forgotten thing in weddings. Some couples don't know you have to get it before you get married. In the state of Georgia, they have no expiration date. You tell them your "planned" wedding date but since things happen (weather, death in the family or even budgets), they only go by what the officiant puts on them. FH and I both work or go to school while the courthouse is open so we had a week off in February for "mid winter break" (I work at a high school) so we got ours early. Even that didn't make it *real* for me lol. When I had my hair and make up trial and I could really imagine that day, that's what made it real for me. My wedding is in 19 days and sometimes it still doesn't feel real 😂

So happy for you! We're going next week for our May 5 wedding!! So excited to feel how real it is!!

In Texas ours is only good for 90 days but it's not valid until 3 days after picking it up. That is one th8ng that made it feel real to us as well.

Our wedding is Saturday we are going thursday to get ours. Have to wait 24 hrs to use it and expires in 60 days time where we are..
