Me and my partner recently got engaged and although we're sure we want to be together all our lives we set the date for 02/22/20. Me and my partner recently got engaged and although we're sure we want to be together all our lives we set the date for 02/22/20. I've been seeing posts of every other couple planning their weddings with one year or less on advance. And even though I'm excited for the wedding, I feel like I have too much time on my hands. Did we get engaged too early? Any advice on things I can do besides saving up for the date? Is it too early to throw an egagement party? Help!

    Hey! We are date twins😍😍😍

Personally after talking to many vendors, the earlier the better. Especially with this date which is going to be more popular. I already booked the venue, DJ, and Photographer. I think it’s better to do it earlier so that you can book who you want not who has the availability left.

Engagement party wise, that can never be too early. We had ours last weekend and it was great!

    Good luck planning!

It's not to early. By the time our wedding is here we will have been engaged almost 2 years. You can start by doing lots of research into what you want. Some venues fill up fast so that's one of the first things i'd do. It's not to early for a party!
