Depends on your location. June is the most popular wedding month. If you're in an urban area with lots of weddings, get your vendors and venue booked IMMEDIATELY. Popular vendors normally book 6-12 months in advance. If you're in a rural area, it might be a little easier.

Do you have a venue yet?

You need to book vendors ASAP, as summer is a very busy time for most wedding vendors and they may already be booked.

You need to rush. Finding vendors is going to be difficult if you are planning a Friday or Saturday wedding. Sunday might even be a little tricky.

You will probably have a hard time finding a venue. I would start calling places now. Venues can book up 2 years in advance. You’ll have the same issue with vendors, good ones book far in advance. 4 months could be doable offseason but June is going to be very difficult.

With four months I would seriously urge you to rush.

Rush. I feel better that I rushed everything (engaged Jan.- will be also getting married in June) and have time to relax and get little things done. Venue was the hardest thing to come up with (June is a HUGE wedding month in California) and once we got that everything else kinda started falling into place!

Im a wedding planner and i would reccommend that you push your date back. Its going to be stressful trying to do so much in a short time. Dresses can take 9 months to come in. Venues book 2 yrs out so do most other wedding professionals. .

If you start now. Everything will pay off. You will have to rush a little but but try not to stress.
