Hi WW family,

All you beautiful brides,I haven’t posted recently because unfortunately my mother was in the hospital. She ended up passing away this weekend, and as much as I would love to continue my big wedding I am no longer having it. I am having a very tough time and so is my family, I just want to get on here one last time especially for those who reach out to me often to ask how things are going, we have decided to cancel the whole wedding as we are not going to be in the mood to celebrate or be happy.My family as well as my mother we were all looking very forward for her to be attending my wedding and now it won’t be the same.
Me and my fiancé along with the support of family have decided to do a very intimate wedding ceremony and then the rest we’re just going to dinner as a family. I am going to take my father my fiancé and our son to the Philippines and go visit my mom‘s hometown as well as my fathers. We will take our families out to eat the day of the ceremony and that will be our wedding as much excitement and fairytale wedding I wanted, I no longer want as I will never feel the same. We will do one more ceremony in the Philippines so I can be around my extended family and be able to say I do out there as well. All of it will be very intimate, I hope you all have an amazing wedding I know you guys will all be beautiful and have a great time

I'm so sorry!!! Our mothers are uniquely special people in our lives. I can understand you not feeling up for a big wedding. No matter where or how you get married she will be right by your side. Hi Arlene, I didn't know you or saw your posts before but my heart hurts for you. I know a sorry for your loss doesn't cover it because it's so much more than a loss. I'm sending you love, healing, prayers and strength. Big wedding or not, your Mom will be looking down with the best seat in the house and blessing your marriage. Damn. So sorry. A nightmare if I ever heard of one. Your mom means so much to you and you should take however much time you need. Just don't forget that your mom would want you to continue on and be married.
