Good places for engagement photos?? Any sugestions? (Phoenix Ladies)

Have you tried searching google image or pinterest? I'd try searching "engagement pictures phoenix" and find some pictures you love, then work backward and find out where they were taken

I'm not from the area, so I can't offer any suggestions for locations. But I will suggest talking with your photographer if you haven't already. Our photographer picked our location for our engagement photos. We talked with him about what we wanted, and he picked a location that he had shot at many times. It was definitely an advantage to have a location that he was familiar with and liked.

A bit late to this party--- but I've been trying to think of locations as well. Fellow PHX bride. I was thinking Papago is probably pretty popular, I know downtown Scottsdale where the LOVE statue is popular, I think it would be cool to be out in the desert with cacti and mountains (McDowell, Superstition, whichever is closest), downtown PHX for a more urban feel-- there's also that sunflower patch. I know of couples going to Sedona and Mogollon Rim area which produces BEAUTIFUL pictures! Good luck to you!

I'm having 3 lol.

1. Pine top - this was an opportunity with work with a photographer I adore who cost minimum $6000 for weddings and it was a great deal so I'm doing a quick session with her.

2. Downtown Mesa - it's where FH and I met and they have a wall of Cinderella and her carriage. YES!!!!

3. Canyon lake or Desert botanical garden - FH is a total AZ guy so we wanted something outdoors that will show the beauty that is the desert.

AZ is full of beautiful, scenic places. Even Tempe town lake can be beautiful, especially with the blue it up footpath.

We did ours close to our venue in Verrado by the white tank mountains.

I would check and see maybe close to Tempe or Desert Botanical Gardens. Depends on your look! Do you want desert or cooler weather up north?

We did our engagement photos at Papago Park, on a late afternoon around 4-ish. The pictures and the lighting was really beautiful! I heard the Japanese Friendship Garden was really nice too.

We did ours at The Desert Botanical Gardens in April just before sunset. I was born here but FH is from the mid west. It was the perfect place to showcase our love for the desert since we have a ton of OOT guests. I think the second Tuesday of every month they offer free admission.
