Good photographer who delivers RAW and will do NDA

I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a quality photographer that will deliver the RAW images. I understand this is controversial but I've identified a few very good ones who do this. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a quality photographer that will deliver the RAW images. I understand this is controversial but I've identified a few very good ones who do this. That said, I'd to take a look at several more options. I'd also like them to sign a nondisclosure as I don't want any photos from our wedding shared on a blog or other source. If it makes any difference, I'd also be willing to sign a nondisclosure for the unedited raw images and any edits I would make to them. I really just want to have all the images, whether the photographer deems them good or bad. I'm a semi serious landscape photographer and while I love my good photos, sometimes its the really crappy or technically poor pictures that bring back the best almost humorous memories. We probably won't print any images and don't want an album that we'll never look at so there is no danger in these images being seen and attributed to the photographer. If it matters our budget is 5-10k.

You can't call us "bitch brigade." Flagging.

That's exactly why you're not getting what you want. That stellar attitude of yours "Doctor". *eye roll*

Isn't med school hella competitive and snarky? We should be considered nice at that rate?

That must easily be the most passive aggressive, showy-off comment I've come across in WW and trust me, there was stiff competition.

Bye Jane, have a good life. Don't let us plebs hurt your precious feelings. Nice to see your true colors come out by the end of this trainwreck of a thread.

(Predictable response: "Oh trust me I will").

Let me tell you something; if someone's wedding photos/food/ceremony is messed up? It may not be life and death to the world, but it is to them. And an unhappy customer is a horrible thing, no matter whose fault it is that they're unhappy. Which is why vendors go to the end of their patience to idiot proof the situations.

You don't have to cancel your account. You can just stop reading.

Oh Emily, I beg to disagree. She said some plenty shitty and insulting things to the vendors who answered her.

This is like, "Where can I find a unicorn? I want to offer unicorn rides at my wedding."

    "You can't, they don't exist"

"Yes they do, I saw one. And I can afford it because my budget it giant"

"Well, it's hard to argue with that. Why don't you just book it?"

Emily, I used the heart surgeon analogy because I was using her frame of reference for "experts". Disagree all you want, though. I stand by what I said.

Not sure where you are located, but you could check out http://www.dezandtam.com/

They are located in Southern California, but I'm sure would be willing to travel. Super easy going photographers who I'm sure would be open to something different!

(I have also appreciated your points about paying for what you want. Maybe it's not the "norm", but money talks Smiley winking. Good luck!)

Hearts a price that will protect their brand if Jane goes the way she wants?

Beatrice - Not sure what you mean by that. What Jane is asking for should not help or hurt a photographers brand if there is a NDA involved.

Hearts if Jane decides to post the photos she's duty bound to tag the photographer to avoid copyright infringement. Among other things photographers choose how to do their photo editing to highlight their work.

Beatrice - Understandable but she has already stated that she will not be showing the photos to anyone. And yes, MOST photographers are particular about their RAW images, but that does not mean that all are. Like I said before, just because something isn't the norm doesn't mean it cannot be done.

"I'd like a unicorn to give rides at my wedding."

    "Unicorns don't exist."

"I found two and they only cost 10,000."

    "The go rent them."

I still don't understand why she doesn't just find a photographer whose still she likes? It doesn't need to be this difficult...
