Going with Disposable Plates

Ruthie, on January 9, 2020 at 8:07 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 8
My fiance and I are planning our paying for our own wedding and need to be budget conscious. We originally wanted real plates but though disposable plates would be more affordable and the caterer would charge less. What are good disposable plates that look almost real and nice but affordable? I'm not a big fan of clear acrylic plates.

I bought our plates off of Amazon! The only way you can tell that they aren't real is because they're lightweight, otherwise you wouldn't know the difference! We got the rose gold, but they also have silver or gold options Smiley smile https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XDF72J4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

These are nice. Really like the rose gold but won't match my other colors.

I do like the idea biodegradable ones but after doing calculations they always seem to be close to $70 more. I think, I would be leaning more towards plastic.

Hey Ruthie, try and go to webstaurant.com and look at their disposable dinnerware. I think you'll like what you see.

Costco has some that look really nice. There are plastic ones that don't really look plastic, they could pass for "real" plates. There's also plastic "silverware" that looks real too!
