I got the call today that my dress came in! The bridal shop wanted me to setup a try on appointment (wedding isn’t until September so it won’t be an official fitting yet) so I set one for April when my mom who lives out of state will be here. I’m dying to go see the dress beforehand though! The...

I’m dying to go see the dress beforehand though! The paranoid part of me just wants the peace of mind that it’s the right dress, size I ordered, etc.
I want to save the excitement of putting it on for the first time for when I’m with my mom but is it weird to just go see my dress? How soon after your dress arrived did you go to try it on?

I mean, I ran to the dress shop when they called me to tell me that the dresses of my bridesmaids were in. I was that excited to see them. They were super accommodating.
THEN I let my girls know.

I’m so jealous! Mine should be in next month (and I have a while before my October wedding) but I’m DYING to see mine again. I don’t think it’s strange at all to go see the dress! You do you!

I got the call last Tuesday that my dress was in for our October wedding. I am going this Saturday to try it on and pay it off. I'd go sooner rather than later for peace of mind that it's the right dress and size.
