FH and I first thought going home would be better. Now I'm wondering if we really want to drive home for around 30 minutes only to drive to the hotel the next morning for our thank you breakfast. We have a caterer coming in to provide a vegan breakfast. We spoke to the hotel manager in advance and this is okay, and they are letting us use the conference room. The morning commute is a pain and might take an additional half hour. Depending on the room it might cost $139 or $159. Our wedding will end at 10. I know if anyone still feels lively we could hang out at the hotel after for a bit since they have an outdoor patio with a lovely fireplace. Would you recommend going home or staying at the hotel?

Some hotels will actually give the bride and groom their room for free on their wedding night if there are a certain number of paid nights from your guests. Wouldn't hurt to ask if they have a threshold that you could try and meet!

Definitely stay at the hotel. You'll both be exhausted and having that extra hour together will be worth the cost of one night in the hotel.
