My bff is getting married in late sept and she was saying she’s nervous about that too. She hasn’t yet booked honeymoon stuff so I told her she could at least wait a few months before she absolutely needs to or buy travel insurance in case if it helps her feel assured

Go somewhere local, less likely you will need to cancel your honeymoon. It's also likely that in the next 6 months the virus will start to dwindle down. Just use common sense, ie watching hands more frequently. Like people are really starting to panic. I have allergies all the time and my throat is extremely dry from talking on the phone at work and allergy season beginning. I coughed a tiny cough at Target earlier today and for real thought a woman was going to jump me.

I’m freaking out because I’m getting married in two weeks and NC just declared a state of emergency. I will just be crushed if our wedding gets cancelled.

I am really praying this doesn't get worse. We talked about rescheduling the honeymoon, and I'm scared that our wedding in three weeks won't go as planned. Hawaii may be too close to China for safety, so we're debating it. But I almost feel like the safest place is a tropical island.

We are going to Japan in August for ours. I'm a little nervous, but, I imagine by then things will have died down.

I think you just have to remain positive. I’m sure things will work out. We’re having a destination wedding in October and we’re hoping and expecting the best.

I feel your stress! NC bride and getting married May 2nd. It's almost 2 months out but I live in wake county where there are already 7 cases. Honeymoon is Orlando for universal and disney... go away coronavirus.

I'm a little worried...we're September as well. We planned for 2 weeks in Europe but that's out of the question now for sure. Now we don't know where to go.

No, it's not silly at all!! I am getting married in early May and have a cruise that is totally paid for. I am STRESSED OUT!!! I think September is probably gonna be great for you, though.

Yeah. I'm worried that we are screwed. We purchased our flight and hotels for Tokyo and Kyoto Japan for July this year for our honeymoon. We haven't cancelled yet. We hare hopeful that it will be cleared up by July but we will be watching the Olympics as an indicator if we can still go or cancel.

Yes we were planning on going to spain in June but one we never arranged anything and two now with the virus we will postpone. Not so much because of the fear of getting sick and dying but I want to enjoy my honeymoon and if everything is closed what is the point of going to a new country when I don't get to experience the things I wanted to. Thinking we might try Feb 2021 and hope things are back to normal. We might try and still get away in June and go to a state we've never been to but only time will tell what will be possible

I'm getting married late September and my honeymoon is in southern Italy.. while i'm concerned i'm not making any decisions until August! I'd wait to see how the situation plays out if I were you!
