Go Away Corona!!

Cierra, on March 16, 2020 at 5:47 PM Posted in Planning 0 9

I'm curious to know if COVID-19 is affecting any of your wedding plans? My wedding is later next month, but I know there has been suggestions to avoid gatherings of more than 50 people in most states (including my own; Texas) My Fiance and I were actually suppose to attend a wedding this coming Saturday but were informed yesterday it's been postponed until October due to the pandemic. Just wondering what thoughts on this were. Any one else nervous about how this could effect your big day?

My wedding is in 4 days in Las Vegas. So far they have closed casino's, restaurants, bars and clubs...

Oh my! Is your venue still open? Or have you had anyone tell you they aren't coming?

My venue is still open. We only have a very small group coming. So everyone is still attending. So just keeping our fingers crossed🤞🏾But I hope we still have a good experience in Vegas but idk😏

Ours had to be cancelled entirely. With no knowledge of how long these lockdowns will actually take, we couldn't risk not pulling the plug now.

Date twin! We just postponed ours to September. Unless we are in lockdown, we still plan to get married on the original date but it’ll have to be a small ceremony with just family at my parents house. It seems like this virus could be around until July/August. It’s been an extremely stressful few days and we’re just heartbroken that we won’t be having the wedding we’ve been planning for a year and a half but we made the right decision.

We were scheduled for April 11, however LA has banned all events over 50 people. We had reschedule to January 😭

I just had to postpone our wedding to July. We were scheduled for 3/20. This is very frustrating.

My date is 3/29...I am crushed because I now have to cut those who are local and still planned on coming. We live in Arizona, and state said gatherings of 10 people or less. We are doing a small wedding anyways, but it was for 17.

We also need to find out if the gathering of 10 includes the photographer and officiant...because that makes a difference as well.....
