Glow Stick Send Off!

I haven't been to a wedding personally where they've used glow sticks, but I bought foam glow sticks for our send off since we can't do sparklers in our venue! I think they're a fun alternative since they're visible and colorful!

I think it sounds cool. I’d talk to your photographer. They may have good ideas on types of glow sticks and logistics.

I’m doing that since our venue isn’t allowing sparklers 😒 but I’ve seen on Pinterest that it looks cool so I’m cool with it, plus our DJ will be handing out the glow sticks while the dancing is going on so, that way they have the glow sticks in hand already! Good luck!!

I love the idea of glow sticks instead of sparklers! I think, like DC Bride 10.27.18 said, maybe check with your photographer to see if he/she has any suggestions! But I've seen some really cool pictures done with glow sticks!

I have not, honestly if I had tried to get my guests together at the end of the night to do this, it would have been a logistic nightmare. I give total props to anyone who gets this coordinated after a day of celebrating and drinking.

I’d just double check with my photographer to make sure you’re getting the look you want.

We used glowsticks and had a super skilled photographer, and it didn't look like anything haha. Granted, it was more important for us to have the glowsticks on the dance floor, and that was fun, but the sendoff didn't look like anything haha. I don't think they are bright enough to notice. I have never seen it done in person. But I would think it would take the right photographer who knows lighting very well to pull that off.
