Future hubby really wants a glow-stick send off. What’s your opinions on this idea?

We're doing this for our wedding! FH and I are ravers, so it's super appropriate for our lifestyle.

I wanna do this so bad but FH thinks it’s stupid. It’s not my fault that his nickname in HS was The Holy Neon.
So we’re definitely gonna do it lol.

Go for it! I think it's a really good idea! I was thinking sparklers but this is much simpler and safer. Plus I think it would make super cute pictures. we're having a evening wedding on a Friday so I'm super excited I ran across this post!!

I really wanted the sparklers also but I’m worried someone’s not going to hold them high enough and I’m gonna catch my hair on fire lol so glow sticks seemed the easier and safest route!!

I love these glow sticks. I've looked on Amazon and worry because reviews show complaints of "duds" and dying glow in 30 minutes. Can anyone tell my what company they got quality glow sticks from? I need to buy 800 sticks and can't risk getting lots of sticks that don't light up on the day of the event or die in 30 minutes.

    Thanks!

    Hi MaryLee,

Did anyone respond to you? Did you get the glow sticks for your son's wedding? I'm looking to buy 800 sticks to turn into bracelets and want to use a company that won't send me duds that don't light or die in 30 minutes. I need them to last 3 hours.

    Thanks,
    Margie

    Hi FME,

What company did you buy your glowsticks from on Amazon? I need to buy 800 sticks and reviews on Amazon for some companies complain about getting too many sticks that are duds or die in 30 minutes.

    Thanks for your help!

    Margie

I love this idea! My venue doesn’t allow sparklers so I was looking at alternatives and when I found the glow stick send off I loved it. The pictures are so cool and it seems so fun!! I’ll probably stick to two simple colors like white and blue or purple. We will leave them out and then once the party is over do the send off. I’ve already found them in bulk on amazon and they are affordable. I don’t think it’s staged....I think it’s a fun way to end the night!
