Gifts- Matron of honor, mother of the bride

I've seen artists on Etsy recreate photos into a watercolor painting or a drawn digital art piece! I've thought about getting a photo of me and my mom when I was little and having that made and putting it in a nice frame. That could be an option!

If she wears jewelry then you could do a really nice piece that she can wear everyday and remember the wedding day!

My Matron of Honor was my niece (we are the same age LOL). She is one of those ladies who just buys what she wants when she wants it. I purchased her a nice canvas tote with her name embroidered on it, and "filled" it with a "luxury" pair of flip flops (we live in FL & it was a beach wedding ~ not that I expected her to wear them that day) & a leather travel jewelry case with her initials on it. She loved everything & didn't already have the items! She has used everything & it's only been 2 weeks since the wedding! (the bag is big enough for wine which she loves)

Stay away from wedding day photo props as those are not gifts for them. Purchase something non wedding related that is not engraved/embroidered with names/titles that you would get for their birthday according to their individual interests. What are they into? Are they into baking, camping, books/movies, etc?

View Quoted Comment I made the gift bags for all the girls, including hers, the same. They all have a stemless champagne glass with their title and a makeup bag with their name on the outside and title inside. I filled the bag with emergency supplies, since they're all moms, to keep in the car or their purse. I also put bridesmaids on DVD in their totes.


Someone at work suggested a photo book with pictures of us from when I was a baby till now and I think I might do that. Maybe with a nice handwritten letter on the inside cover.
