Gifts for family who chipped in for wedding

Cassandra, on August 2, 2021 at 11:24 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 7

Did you give a small token of appreciation for family who chipped in to help pay for your wedding?

We are paying for our wedding mostly ourselves but my parents and my FH step-dad have been helping us out along the way and I wanted to make sure they know how much we appreciate it and wanted to get them a gift to signify that besides just telling them over and over thank you. Any good gift ideas? I'm also going to write out a card to go along with it but could use some inspiration on the actual gift.

After the wedding you could wait until you pictures come in and gift them a nice family picture in a nice frame. Thats what I plan on doing even though nobody is helping us pay for the wedding.

In my opinion, anyone that has helped with the wedding whether financial or time contributions should get a gift.
Our parents participated a lot financially so we each gave them a very nice wedding album with all the pictures and they loved it.

A photo album or framed picture goes a long way. Artifact Uprising is a good site to make your own.

If its an option and in your budget, I think a smaller family album of your wedding photos is a really nice appreciation gift. Albums can be expensive to order through your photographer, but you might be able to use a company like Artifact Uprising to make one. Even just a framed wedding photo (ideally of you, the couple, with the people you are thanking) would be really nice!

A card with a heartfelt note sounds like plenty.

I like the idea of a photo with the people you're thanking!
