Gifts for Bridal Shower games

Possum, on October 1, 2015 at 1:54 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 11

I'll start by saying, I know I shouldn't be helping to plan my shower, but I am. So the question is: What would be a good gift(s) for the bridal shower games we will be playing on Saturday at my shower? Its a range of ages, like 27-87. I'm at a loss.

I gave out alcohol in traditional polish fashion! Smiley winking Do something based on your theme if you are having one. Ladies always love some perfume or bath stuff?

When I hosted my sister's bridal shower I went to Bath & Body Works and just got their pre-made gift sets. Cheap & easy!

The last one I went to, they gave out cute little diary type notebooks and fancy lotions and those cute bracelets that you can get at like Walmart! It was a lot of fun.

For a friend's shower that I helped plan, we gave away things that the bride liked. For example, her favorite movie is Mean Girls, so we gave that away. She also loves chocolate, so we gave some Ferrero Rochers away. I forget what the other gifts were basically they were all some of the bride's favorite things.

Cute! Thank you ladies! @Paulina I suggested booze first too! hahaha love the bath and body works suggestion too. I don't buy it for myself but I totally use it when its given to me!

ETA: I'd love to give out puppies a la Bridesmaids hahaha (if that wasn't a terribly irresponsible thing to do) Smiley smile

I had a "Happy Hour Shower".

In the prize bags were chocolates, Mini bottles of Wine ($6-$8 for FOUR), and my BM found those plastic wine glass tumbers with a lid at the Dollar Tree!

    Everyone loved them!

Bath and Body Works, yes! I like the beach bag idea too. Or maybe a nice scented candle?

For my sister's bridal shower, I gave out bath & body works Items (sprays, soaps, and lotions), coffee tumblers, bottles of wine, kitchen towel and oven mitt sets, and the mini VS perfume kits. They all seemed to be really well received.

A friend of mine loves baking, so our prizes for her shower were baking accessories. You can get them cheaply at a dollar store or Walmart. Spatulas, measuring cups, etc. We also bought cupcake wrappers and boxes of cake mixes for prizes.
