Gifting Step-mom and future mil with flowers during ceremony

I was talking to my favorite aunt (Mom's sister) about the wedding and she gave me the idea of giving out a bouquet of flowers to my step-mom and my fiancé's mom before reciting vows. She mentioned that my mother gave her that suggestion for her own wedding and that my grandmother and her MIL loved it. My mother passed away when I was 12 so hearing that idea makes me want to do it because I'll be still honoring my mother. I love my step mom because she genuinely loves me and my sister as her own (she doesn't have any kids) so this gives me the opportunity to show her I appreciate her. My relationship with MIL is good because we both get along and the mutual respect is there. People actually think were mother and daughter when they see us because of how close we are. So now I'm just trying to figure out what flowers I want to gift them and where to put them in the ceremony where it'll be a surprise.
