Gift idea for friends

I think it would be fine for the one already pregnant, but I wouldn't give it to someone who isn't yet. My husband and I struggled to get pregnant for a year so something like that would have upset me when we were trying.

I agree with Veronica. As someone who has/is also struggling to start my family, receiving a baby book before I was even pregnant would invoke sad feelings instead of excited one.

Do not give someone this gift who does not have a live physical child outside of her body by the time of your wedding. I think the sentiment is lovely and that your friends would appreciate it when they actually have children - so please save it for that!

I wouldn't do a baby book for people who aren't at least very close to giving birth (like at a baby shower). We found out after we started trying that we were unlikely to get pregnant on our own because I suffer from PCOS (which we also didn't discover until after we started trying). If someone gave me a baby book, I would melt into a little puddle - it's bad enough if people ask about it.

Agree with the masses, not appropriate for a wedding related gift, but they are super cute— I’d bookmark the idea and give it as a baby shower gift !

Agree with all previous posts! My fiancé and I want to start a family after our wedding but I have fertility issues. Getting a baby book would make me incredibly disappointed and sad.
