Gift Groom gives Bride?

I am planning to get my FH a watch if I can make it work in the budget (he has expensive tastes weirdly) and I told him I was getting him something, so he will probably get me something too. We give more gifts to each other at random times vs on actual holidays.

We agreed not to do gifts. But, H surprised me with new address labels with both our names on them, but that was something small. I don't think you need to go overboard here, paying for and planning for a wedding is expensive enough.

Of course! If you bought him something he should buy you something. Why would it only be for him??

EW: if I hadn't of told him I was getting him a gift he probably wouldn't have even thought about getting me something, hence why I told him. I am super hoping he gets me the hockey jersey I want with his last name on it and either his number or the date of our wedding (fingers crossed). .

My FH is getting me a nice leather bag with my new monogram on it for work. I'm not sure what to get him yet, but I was thinking about several smaller things. Maybe a watch, some socks for cold feet, etc.

@Vandekerklove- I totally get that!! FH and I discussed gifts and decided we wanted to do them. FH is clueless and wouldn't have thought of that either. I think the jersey is so cute!! I hope he does it! Drop hints!

We wrote each other letters. I'm going to frame his to me to put in my office.

Honestly, that's something you 2 should have discussed before you bought him something!

My DH bought me a pair of diamond earrings, and we wrote each other cards.

FH got me rose gold pearl earrings and necklace.
