Gift for Officiant

I was actually thinking of the same question. Un-sure. I was just going to give our officiant 50 dollars. He isn’t our close friend or anything.
Do you think 50 dollars is a good idea??

How about a spa gift card or a gift card to her favorite restaurant and a nice bottle of wine/whatever she drinks.

A gift is a good idea. That's what we did for our officiant - except we gave cash. So a spa or gift card in general is nice

Does she have a Favorite movie or author? Or is she a book lover? or Movie lover?

If book lover: Get a soft sided bag( helllllo Barnes & Noble) and a gift card to them. Add in a romance, mystery and sci/fi or fiction( Dollar Tree also sells new paperbacks) and wrap them up in brown paper w: a description. Add some tea and cookies and or a pair of warm socks/soft throw.

If movie lover: Get a soft sided cooler, add in a few drinks- alcohol/non, microwave popcorn, chocolate & twizzlers, a couple movie tickets/gift card and or a dvd or 2... or a Netflix/Hulu/Amazon prime gift card...

Our officiant is one of Fh's best friends so we're treating him as an honorary groomsman. We bought him the same gift as the guys: an AleHorn tankard.

One of our officiants is actually my beekeeping mentor. I've thought about getting him a really nice tie with bees on it. Our other officiant is a lady and I haven't quite decided on what to get her yet.

I would say get them something that you know is meaningful to them

I was just thinking the same thing today! My future sister in law is doing our wedding. I was thinking we could get her a cute necklace off of Etsy or something like that.
