Gift bag help

Miranda, on January 20, 2020 at 8:37 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

We are having a very small wedding in September, there will be a max of 20 guests attending. ( we know for sure 14). We are all traveling and staying in a beach house together. With us having such a small group I want to do welcome bags, since we are all traveling 10 hours to get there. But I have no clue what to put in them. I know I am putting in sunglasses because it is a beach wedding. After that I am stumped though. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or what did you put in your welcome bag that guests just loved?

Sunscreen, chapstick, advil, mini water bottle, snacks, flip flops. You could also put everything in a sand panel instead of a bag.

Thanks I like the sand pale idea a lot. I was thinking of wrapping everything in a beach towel. But I think I might just put it all in a pale instead

Cute! I love the beach towel idea. Zazzle does sales sometimes for their totes (I got them for $5 and they were personalized) so everything could go in one of their totes too? Our welcome bags had two water bottles - for SURE include water bottles, a mini pack of ibuprofen & tums, a "his favorite" and "her favorite" snack, a welcome pamphlet & itinerary for the weekend, and a bag of hershey kisses. For your beach thing, maybe include chap stick or sunscreen? Or flip flops?

We had a beach wedding. We put polarized sunglasses, sun screen, aloe, chapstick, and Advil in our bags. You could put a few snacks- a bottle of water, trail mix, pretzels, cookie- in it if you aren’t getting married at an all inclusive/taking care of meals.

Honestly, water and snacks would be my preference. A mini bottle of sunscreen is nice. If you’re traveling, maybe 2-3 postcards of the area? Maybe a tourism brochure?
