I've read several places about needing to have a gift attendant. That doesn't seem necessary to me, especially the thing that we are putting cards in is rather large and heavy, but now my mom is even saying that we need one. Is that really a necessity and where does one go about finding someone to...

I've read several places about needing to have a gift attendant. That doesn't seem necessary to me, especially the thing that we are putting cards in is rather large and heavy, but now my mom is even saying that we need one. Is that really a necessity and where does one go about finding someone to do this job??

    I'm probably going to have my brother-in-law and nephew (navy guy) watch them and move them somewhere safe. I'm fortunate that my wedding and reception are both at the church I work - but I know things can still happen with vendors.
