Would it be wrong if we decided to get married on Father’s Day next year?

Right or wrong isn't a hard and fast rule. It all depends on your guests and if your wedding being on a holiday (and a Sunday) would mean they wouldn't be able to attend. Discuss with your VIPs and see if it would affect their attendance and then make your decision.

It also depends on your family's dynamic with fathers day. Would your fathers be upset? If you are the type of couple who wants a quiet night alone or to travel for your anniversary, every few years your anniversary may fall on fathers day again. If you usually go visit on that holiday, would it change if it's now your anniversary?

Guest-wise, some people may choose not to attend to rather spend the day with their fathers. There might also be a few who don't realize until last minute what day it is and not show up after rsvping yes (as incredibly rude as that is)

It’s definitely not “wrong”, but as others have noted, it could come with a lot of complications as well as a higher decline rate.

This is 100% a "know your crowd" type situation. I have no dad so I wouldn't care. But I hate Sunday weddings, so probably wouldn't go unless you were a major person to me.

Agree with others on this one. It’s not wrong, however it depends on your social circle. I personally would not do father’s day. but that’s just me. Not sure how your family members and friends would be if you decided to have a father’s day wedding.
