What is everyones plan of how to get home (or to your hotel) after the wedding? Has anyone considered uber? I know you can preschedule a month in advance for an uber. Currently considering that.. But open to all ideas.

Melody Uber black is basically a fancier Uber. Works the same as a regular Uber but for an extra cost you get to ride in a luxury car. They're pretty popular in our area.

No its within the same app. If you scroll over to the left or right I can't remember you should see the option.

Good question.... I didn't even think about that. Traditionally the best man transports the newlyweds to their hotel (that is according to a wedding book I was given on my engagement). We're not going with that option bc our best man enjoys drinking. I guess Uber sounds good... hmmm

We are using the shuttle service from our Hotel where we've got the block, same place we'll be staying as guests. Our hotel is about 15 minutes from the reception, so I don't want our guests who are staying to worry about driving.

    ETA: words are hard.

We took a limo to the hotel after the reception. Earlier in the day, my mom and I dropped my car off at the hotel so we were able to drive home the next day.

We ordered the hotel shuttle so anyone who books in our hotel block have a ride to the venue and back

We had a shuttle for guests that took us back to the hotel after our wedding. DH had driven to the hotel the day of our wedding and I had ridden with my mom, so we just rode back to our house together the day after the wedding in DH's car.

For the bridal party we have a party bus. For guests, we're using uber codes. The rides are less than $10 for every 4 people. It worked out cheaper than using the transportation company. Uber has an events section and I will pay for their rides.
