Get away car

Hello!

Has anyone gotten a getaway car? If so what was it and what was the cost if you don’t mind sharing? We have been quoted for one but it is going to be close to $1000 which I think is crazy for only one hour of use!

This car would just be for me and my FH to get away in after our send off. It would just be there for pictures and to take us to our hotel that we will be staying at immediately after the reception.

Can't you just get a regular rental car for that? Like $50? Or are you looking for some kind of specialty car/antique/car show car? Then I could understand that kind of price. Otherwise, you can just go to Enterprise or Hertz and rent a cadillac, or something nice like that.

Renting transportation is crazy expensive. We decided to just cut it from our budget after getting quotes. We aren't really wanting to do a grand exit of any kind and I am getting ready at our reception location so my car will be there. So we plan to just have any gifts and cards loaded into my car and then drive my car back to the hotel for the night. Is it the most romantic? No, but spending $800-1000 for driving only about 5 miles between locations for us just didnt make any sense

We rented a limo! It was $350 for the one way trip back to the hotel (around 30 minutes).
