I'm planning my wedding and I feel like I had all these ideas on how to make it special but due to my budget I feel like its turning into a very generic wedding. It will still be nice. I'm planning my wedding and I feel like I had all these ideas on how to make it special but due to my budget I feel like its turning into a very generic wedding. It will still be nice. Food will be good, alcohol will be unlimited and I'm currently working on a really good dj but I'm wondering if that's enough...I think I'm getting wrapped up in the whole weddings are events that suppose to impress everyone when its really a celebration of love between me and my fiance. At first I wanted a live painter or some form of live artist, then we wanted lawn games (outdoor wedding) but fiance feels its a waste of money for an hour when people are eating and drinking, then I thought about adding a cool lounge section to our tent but it was over $1000 with delivery fees...so now i'm a little bummed I don't have anything that I personally feel is unique. Did you have anything unique at your wedding and if not, did it really matter?

I ended up creating a list of all the personal touches and unique things to us that will be apart of my wedding. Doing that helped me realize that it will be personal to us and therefore won't be generic. No two weddings are a like because the bride and groom are different! Thanks so much for helping me realize this. I was seriously down about it. Here are just a few things from my that are small but I'm excited about!

Jumping the broom, proposal picture art gallery garden, ghost cake table, look alike cake toppers, personal vows, personalized napkins, sunglasses favors...etc. These may not be huge items but I feel they all will make it special!

We didn't want our wedding to stand out in any way. We focused on good food and entertainment for our guests. We had a photo booth, which was a hit, but that's not really anything extraordinary since photo booths are everywhere now (though my wedding is the only actual wedding I've attended that's had one).

Your wedding will be unique because it's you, getting married. That's why people are there. The rest of the stuff is extra.

    Good luck.

We found out the venue now has a lawn game rental package for a really good price so we can have lawn games! So happy it worked out and for a really awesome price!
