Gatlinburg Tennessee Honeymoon ideas?

Lindsey, on August 14, 2020 at 6:17 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 5
Any recommendations for cabin rentals? We would like one that oversees the mountains and is close to attractions! Also, any recommendations for what to do while we’re there? Thank you in advance!

That’s where we’re going on our honeymoon too! We booked through Heartland Cabins and they look pretty nice! We also received free tickets to different attractions around town, I can’t remember exactly what they were for but it was a nice surprise!

We purposely stayed about 30 minutes from the strip, so I don’t have any rental advice, but I highly recommend eating at Cherokee Grill and Crockett’s Breakfast Camp.

We booked through AirBnb for October. We got a secluded cabin in Pigeon Forge for the first 3 nights and a condo for the other 2 nights in downtown Gatlinburg. Airbnb ended up being cheaper than booking a hotel room. The first time we ever went, we went horseback riding and the views were amazing. We plan to go again.

We did Elkspring for our 7 day stay October 2019. We stayed in the City Sliker. The Urban Cowboy is similar but was already booked. We didn't complain because City Slicker was built 2 months before our wedding stay .

We have been to Gatlinburg several times for little getaways and are having our wedding and honeymoon there in March. We have had a lot of luck booking cabins through Air BnB. Check the reviews carefully and I always examine the pictures to make sure we have a private cabin versus the ones that are practically on top of each other.
Cherokee Grill is great and we always like No Way Jose’s Mexican (I know not very Gatlinburg but so good!). One thing you MUST do is the Sky Bridge. Get the day pass and go during the day and again at night. So worth it!
We haven’t done a lot of the usual tourist things because they are expensive but we plan to for our honeymoon. Mostly we do some shopping, I love the local jewelry shops, and just enjoy the mountains.
