Are you all planning on a garter toss? Are they even a thing anymore?

Nope! I personally think it's tacky. Not sure why anyone would want to have their man up their dress in front of their entire family. But that's just me! My fiance's sister did it, and it wasn't "tacky" per say but that's just not my vibe. Not doing the bouquet toss either.

Nope! I am not having him go up to my skirt and pull that thing with his teeth when I've got my poor grandma who has a heart condition sitting at a table nearby! LOL SO NOPE! We are doing the bouquet toss because its REALLY pretty LOL I do LOVE the idea of what Jade is doing though!!

We are definitely doing the bouquet and garter toss. I think it's something cute and funny. Some people may find it uncomfortable but trust me, many women still go crazy over trying to catch the bouquet and guys still try catching the garter. And it doesn't have to be singles I've seen people who where in relationships trying to get in on it too. It's not supposed to be a serious thing, like obviously the two people who catch the garter and bouquet aren't going to get together and get married next. It's meant to be a cute fun thing for the newlywed and guests.

Neither my FH nor I are comfortable with a garter toss for us personally. I don’t like the idea of him digging around under my dress publicly (I’m plus sized and very self conscious), he doesn’t wanna get down on the floor, and neither of us want either of our brothers to end up with the garter. That being said, I don’t judge people who do it. To each their own.

My fiancé and I plan not to do it. Neither of us really like to be the center of attention (even though the entire day we will be. Lol). Plus, most of the people attending the wedding are married, or in a long term relationship, so it’s kind of pointless if we have a few people. We plan on doing something else in place of it. We just haven’t figured that out yet lol

We’re gonna skip ours and thinking about doing the anniversary dance.

Same. I would have been okay not having it but there were very few things he asked for.
Bouquet and garter toss, head table, and a dollar dance.
I figure if I can laugh my way through it, I’ll be okay.

Skipping it, no replacement. Just not interested at all, personally. I find it incredibly awkward.

We're not doing the garter toss (or the bouquet toss, for that matter). I don't need my family seeing my FH crawl under my dress...

Also, we don't have very many single people invited.

It's definitely a dying tradition - it's totally optional. We aren't doing a bouquet or garter toss. The ideals behind them don't match with our ideals and would make us uncomfortable.

We skipped this, but it is entirely up to you.
