Garter Toss - Yay or Nay?

We're not fans of the garter toss. our logic is why would i want one of his friends to have a piece of my under garments/ something that was on my thigh?

The garter toss was a heck-no for us! Not only did my husband and I think that it was outdated, but we also believe that the garter toss tradition is misogynistic and sexist. We didn't do the bouquet toss either, because we didn't want to single out our single female guests in front of everyone

I don’t like the idea of the garter toss or the bouquet toss, it just seems forced and people don’t really like participating. We are doing the anniversary dance instead, where all married couples come up and the Dj progressively announces couples married five years sit down and then 10 years, and so on until the last couple standing has been married the longest. I am going to give my bouquet to the woman in that couple.

We skipped the garter & bouquet toss. In our opinion, outdated & tacky. Ew.

Lol right! I've seen this in youtube and every time I'm just like oh no stop so awkward.

We aren’t doing it. I don’t like the idea of him in my dress in front of all our guests and there will only be one single lady (non-married) at our wedding.

We're skipping both. They're both rooted in yucky traditions for us and we just aren't comfortable with either.
