Garter Toss? Yay or Nay?

I keep hearing mixed opinions about it .. some say it’s fun, some say it’s trashy .. I thought it was traditionally a fun idea until a few people stated that it’s better to toss the idea .. thoughts?!

We did it. i wouldnt say its trashy. It doesnt seem to be a popular thing on this site. However its a common thing in our crowd

We skipped it and the bouquet toss--they're not really a thing where we are, and also i found both kind of weird and outdated. we skipped the spotlight dances too. neither of us wanted to draw attention to ourselves for that stuff, since we were already the centre of attention for the whole day anyway.

We are doing a garter and Bouquet toss. TBH watching my parents wedding video, the garter toss was my favorite cause my dad is such a ham. I dont know how are guests will feel but its my wedding and its what I want so if they are not comfortable they can leave the room.
