Games during reception help

Michelle, on June 24, 2019 at 2:40 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 9
So we are 48 days away from our big day! I brought some raffle tickets in blue and red
red for the ladies blue for the guys. To take one

so This is where I’m stuck. I want to keep our guest entertained.. so my question is what kind of games can be played with the raffle tickets ?

I just thought it would be a fun thing to do but I’m not sure what to do for the raffles

gifts ?
Dances ? Have a guy dance with the bride or a lady dance with the groom ??
Karaoke? Have the guy sing then give a gift ?? Haha
help me out please ideas throw them to me

You can use them for the centerpieces to give away

I like Melle's suggestion. I also see that you're having a formal event. I wouldn't really do games unless it's a more casual backyard style wedding. Dancing, good food, good alcohol, and good conversation are the only things I typically look for in a good wedding. Games are usually more appropriate for bridal showers and the like.

I've never been to a wedding with raffle tickets or games. I think just great food and great music is all you need. The rest kinda seems like a kids bday or a carnival. Unneccessary IMO.

Hey Michelle!! What a fun idea! Do you mean that you need help coming up with prizes for the raffle winners?

You could give fun prizes like the first slice of cake, a song request or win the centerpiece on their table.

I think a dance with the bride would be a great prize! Maybe you could also let him choose which song you would dance too as an extra bit of fun!

I was thinking of games too for our outdoor garden wedding! I like the idea of a dance with the bride/groom. would it be too cheesy to raffle off items too (Ex. A bottle of nice sparkling wine, a gift card to a popular restaurant chain)?
