Galena, IL Bachlorette Party

FH and I were engaged at Eagle Ridge Resort in Galena!! I love it there

I know there is a lot of great history in Galena. Maybe do a historical tour OR spend the weekend at one of the cute bed n breakfasts.

When are you planning on having your bachelorette? In the summer months all the stores are open and it's really fun to do tours and shop, but in the off-season some stores are closed and it's kind of like a ghost town.

I've heard the spa at Eagle Ridge Resort is really great too, and that's a really nice place!

We will be going in August....thinking of doing a winery tour as well!

Oh yeah, I forgot about the winery! That would be fun. It's such a cool town

There are several wineries you could visit. And two of the wineries have tasting rooms downtown on Main St. If you want a bit on the history, a trolley tour is a great idea.

At night, Miss Kitty's Grape Escape is always a good time and she has live music every weekend. Frank O'Dowd's Pub at the Irish Cottage and The Galena Brewery are great too. There are several places that will offer live music.

Also you might want to check out our events calendar and search on the specific weekend you'll be here. There are jewelry making workshops and other things going on daily.
