Fun way to do the garter toss?

There are some discussions on this from recent years. One option was just to have a bracelet the groom takes off your wrist and tosses that. I think there was one where the groom just has one of those tiny footballs and tosses that without doing anything embarrassing to you.

One woman said she caught the bouquet when she was around 14 and the man who caught the garter was, per one tradition, to put it on the woman who caught the bouquet. Yep. skip that. Maybe just have a DJ announce the people who got to keep these items.

Another option for the garter toss is have the groom wear a sleeve garter (like in the gambling scenes in Westerns) and you remove that off his arm... Tell people this will be done differently. But people do not always want to do participate in these, so a substitute option should be fine.
