My wedding is June 19, 2021. My father nor his family were involved in my life due their own choice to not be... My father passed away about two years ago. I was raise by my mom, Mamaw, and Aunt. Instead of being sad on my wedding day about not having the traditional father/ daughter dance, I was wondering about everyone’s thoughts on a fun dance with my mom, Mamaw, aunt, and my cousins during the reception. What’s your thoughts??

I think that’s an absolutely wonderful idea. You should celebrate with those who have been there for you. It’s your day so do whatever makes you happy and don’t worry about “traditions” or what people think.
