Frustrated with planning

So I've contacted multiple people on this wonderful site for a variety of things. I'm getting so frustrated with some of these people. I have a few people that will start talking to me and ask me questions and I respond and I tell them what I'm looking for and then they just stopped talking to me altogether. I'll do a follow up email just in case they didn't receive the first one or something and still nothing. I've had one tell me that he was not affiliated with a certain venue. When I was trying to ask him on prices about his limousine service. I got that one cleared up for him to understand that I was looking for a limo service, not for certain venue. I chose to go with another limousine service. Now I have a decor company tell me that they don't provide the drapery for ceilings and walls, even though it clearly states on his web site that they do. Then I messaged him back, "I'm confused, it clearly says that you do this job on your website" and they start asking me question about my venue. I don't feel comfortable trusting these people doing my wedding if they can't even respond to an email properly.

It may be worth contacting them yourself and not through this website. If they have a website, I would contact them through that or just call them up. Good luck.

Yes, this!
I found WW to be useful to look at reviews but not all vendors check or reply to their messages. I would also look up companies on Yelp to read more reviews and then I would contact them through their website or email that they provide. There are so many posts on here about how hard it is to communicate with vendors through WW messages.

I also had a hard time with vendors on WW. I had to find most of mine through Facebook

I had a hard time with vendors as well. Some of them I have reached out to months ago and just now receiving responses, to late for them now. I have tried going to their websites and still no responses from people. It's sad.

I emailed most of them using the email on their website rather than through weddingwire. I used The Knot and WeddingWire to read reviews, but I found it easier to send them an email rather than trying to message them through The Knot or Weddingwire.

Either email them from your email or call them. I would not rely on the messaging services through WW. During my planning process, I found the communication to be much better through regular email.

I had a few respond through WW with no issue but then I started actually emailing other vendors straight from their website. I got most of my vendors and such already so I just decided to hire a partial planner that I found on Thumbtack (who also has a WW profile) for a wicked cheap price. Maybe you can also check on Thumbtack for whatever other vendors you're still looking for. I've had pretty quick responses with vendors on there.
