Friday Weddings

We chose Friday because it was the 13th! It didn't really matter for us since it's a DW, but it certainly helps with expenses!

I am doing a Friday wedding and I am very excited about it. We got about $1200 off the venue and each vendor has given us small discounts for having it on a Friday (every little bit helps!).

We plan on sending our save the dates a little earlier than normal so people can plan if they have to use PTO or travel.

Our dating anniversary lands on a Monday this year so we decided to stay in the same month. We chose our date because it is a Friday the 13th

I personally would not prefer a Friday wedding as a guest. I do not get off of work until about 5:30 pm then I would have to rush home to get ready (if the ceremony hadn't started already). Not only would I be in a rush to get there on time, I would be tired from work and would probably end the night a little early.

In season, we do Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays every week.

Our wedding is on a Friday evening, but honestly I loved our date so much that I probably would have gotten married on a Tuesday lol.

We are having a Friday wedding. We saved tons of money choosing a Friday over a Saturday and are super excited.

We're doing a Friday evening, too! It worked out to be cheaper for us and since it's happening at the beach, we're gonna rent a beach house for the entire bridal party and their spouses. That way, if people want to stay for the rest of the weekend they can! Almost like a vacation! We're gonna have a beach party the following Saturday since the house is beach front!
