if Saturday is already booked or just too darn expensive, would Friday or Sunday be better? And why?

I would go with a Friday, since most people will have off the next 2 days. A big thing for me is I want our guests to enjoy the bar and dance the night away. I know that there would be way less people that do this if it is on a Sunday.

I would prefer a Friday over a Sunday wedding so I don't have to go to work the next day. Yes, I would need to take Friday off but If I attend a Sunday wedding I would not want to stay late or drink much because I have work in the morning.

I went with Sunday cuz the first venue said they discount Friday and Sundays. But when I decided to go with the second venue they didn’t have a Saturday open til next year not to mention my officiant wasn’t available on a Saturday this year either. But I do wish I could have done it Friday just so everyone wouldn’t have to worry about school/work the next day my turn out may have been bigger too.

    Friday is less expensive.

However, less people will probably attend either.

Friday would mean that they’ll have to take off work.

Sunday is the day before most people return to work, so they may not attend.

This is the day that most people are usually returning home from a Saturday Wedding after spending the weekend out of town (either with family or at a hotel/rental property.

My wedding is on a Friday at 6:30pm. If you’re sending save the dates your guests may have enough time to schedule time off or whatever the case may be. I recently went to a Sunday wedding and left early due to having work the next day, and I also didn’t get to enjoy the open bar as much as I would have liked lol

Friday and Sunday's are usually cheaper than Saturday's. Not by much though, but possibly $10-$20 cheaper per person. Thursday however is the cheapest. My wedding is on a Thursday and we’re leaving for our honeymoon the next day til the following Thursday. So it worked out great for us.

Our wedding would have cost us almost 12k just for ceremony and reception. On a Saturday. Since our wedding is on a Thursday our price was under 6k. We got have cut off just for a Thursday. But our total is looking like 10k rn with everything so it’s not bad.

I say Friday. I rather leave work early for a Friday wedding than to not be able to party the way i want to on a Sunday wedding due to work the next morning or having to take off of work and entire day the next day on a Monday just to enjoy myself at a Sunday wedding

I would say Sunday since majority of your guests probably has weekends off.

Sunday! Honestly, it really depends on the number of our-of-town guests.

We wanted to do something cool like 6.20.2020, but Sunday is WAY cheaper. It allows you to prepare on Saturday and not feel rushed on Friday. I actually chose my date based on several friends’s schedules because I really wanted them there.
