My girls walked down to Canon in D by Pachelbel, I walked down to "Bridal March" by Jonathan Cain. Youtube it, it is amazing! My organist somehow sourced the sheet music to it (the interwebz claim that sheet music doesn't exist for it). I started walking when it first starts picking up, and it was so perfect.

I was married in a Catholic church and they have a rule that all music has to be approved by the church. Therefore we used Canon in D by Pachelbel because the wedding march is not on the approved list. My wife was not happy about that, but life is full of little disappointments.

How different, I've never been to a wedding where they use popular radio songs to walk down the aisle. I am having a string trio and am going to walk to Vivaldi - Largo from Lute Concerto in D.

@ Stacey F., my friends got married in April and the groom sang that song to the bride as she was walking down the aisle. There was not a dry eye in the entire ceremony. (not even him) That is such an amazing and beautiful song.

I'll be walking down the aisle to the song my mom and ironically his mom walked down the aisle to..."Ave Maria." It will be played twice b/c it's a Catholic wedding but who cares.

I planned on walking down to "When You Love Someone" by Bryan Adams but were having the ceremony in a Catholic church (FH is catholic)so we can only use regligious music. There are a few on here that I'll have to check out! Our first dance however will be "Long as I Live" by John Michael Montgomery. our back up song is "Cross My Heart" by George Strait, I refuse to have the same song as anyone else's wedding we attend haha.
