Forgot stamps on the rsvp envelopes

What is the problem? Every invitation is for someone who can buy stamps, right? We did not, and after a few international let us know electronically , the other 160 people were all mailed in, accept or decline with stamps. Why should you treat guests like babies?

Providing stamps is actually fairly new in the last 40some years. Prior to that, guests were expected to write their replies on their own stationary.

Don't beat yourself up. On our first go-round with sending invitations, we forgot a few stamps, and I know there was at least one where we forgot to put our return address on an RSVP card. The people who care most about you can and will shell out the 51 cents for a stamp.

I wouldn't worry about it! I think you just may have to do a lot more reaching out to get the RSVPs then if you did include the stamp.
