What’s done is done- can’t do much about now beautiful! No sense in kicking yourself - it’s a mistake & you’re human. Once all this is over you’re going to laugh!

Thank you. It's like my fiance said it's a small mostly family wedding it's not a big deal. So I'm trying to forget about it.

What is the problem? Every invitation is for someone who can buy stamps, right? We did not, and after a few international let us know electronically , the other 160 people were all mailed in, accept or decline with stamps. Why should you treat guests like babies?

I've been to a lot of weddings and every single one of them sent rsvp cards with a stamp for the envelope. I don't know how things are where you are but where I'm from that's just how it's been for years. But seeing your view on this does make me feel better.

Guests can and do buy their own stamps frequently. Don’t worry about it.

Providing stamps is actually fairly new in the last 40some years. Prior to that, guests were expected to write their replies on their own stationary.

Thank you 😊 and I didn't know that, I've just always seen stamps provided and thought it was something that has been done for years.

Whenever my mom invites anyone formally, which is a lot for work, and fairly often at home, she always has a card that needs an envelope and stamp. We have a family snicker about anyone who actually calls to find out what to do.

Nothing you can do about it now. Hopefully guests realize it before sticking it in the mailbox!

    Hello Katie.
I honestly can't see this being a big deal. You're overthinking 🙂 Unless you are expecting some of your guests to decline because of this?

You're right I am over thinking this. I don't think anyone will decline because of a stamp. It's really only a small family wedding. I just over think and stress to much about everything. I need to learn to just let things be.

Don't beat yourself up. On our first go-round with sending invitations, we forgot a few stamps, and I know there was at least one where we forgot to put our return address on an RSVP card. The people who care most about you can and will shell out the 51 cents for a stamp. Smiley smile

I wouldn't worry about it! I think you just may have to do a lot more reaching out to get the RSVPs then if you did include the stamp.
