For those brides doing the dollar dance! What are the guests putting money in?

I have been trying to think about what the maid of honor and best man will be holding to put the money in? I want to make something but I don't know if I should do a bag, jar basket, or a decorated box? Anybody made anything or seen cute things used?

I'm from Louisiana and we look forward to the money dance....it's a fun way to break the ice for guests to join the dance floor to get the party started. Brides use to pin the money on their dress...now I see them using a white cloth satin bag with handles or a drawstring. I attended a fusion wedding and during their money dance their family members were making it rain cash on the couple in their chairs on the dance floor while playing the song...which was very fun and very unexpected.

Hi Date Twin! We used galvanized green buckets at my sister's wedding, which went well with her rustic country wedding theme. In the past at other weddings, I've seen them use the flower girl's basket (I think the totally forgot about something to have!) and at one they used Top Hats (all the groomsmen wore them). I haven't decided on what we'll be using for our "Dollar Dance", but most likely something that goes with our Tailgate Themed reception.

We are using a bag someone gave us. Kinda boring, but hey free is free.

Also, I've seen where they use the money dance as a cute game where whoever gets fullest gets cake in their face. Smiley smile

We are having a fall themed wedding with lanterns as centerpieces. So might incorporate the lantern with our dollar dance too. Don't listen to the idiots who say it's tacky, it's your wedding. We are taking the money from our dollar dance and donating it to the cancer center of local hospital which helps patients who might not have the money for treatments. 100% to the patients with no overhead.
