For fun: first gift you got!

Our first registry gift came all the way back in January! It was from one of my bridesmaids who lives out of state and knew she wouldn't be able to attend my shower (which was a couple of weeks ago). It was our kitchen canister set and cake stand from Target!

Our invitations just went out so none yet - fingers crossed! Lol

We got our first gifts yesterday from one of my friends. I knew she was having them sent to our house. They were supposed to be gift wrapped but BB&B dropped the ball and they weren't. I had my FH look first. I want to wait until my bridal shower to see the gifts. Once he saw they weren't wrapped I had him close the boxes back up. So he knows but I don't. My fmil is going to wrap them for me to open at my bridal shower

Technically it was to our honeymoon fund, but our first physical gift was a Cuisinart frozen yogurt/sorbet/ice cream maker!! Super excited haha

We moved in together and bought one of the sheet sets we are registered for. 🤷‍♀️
There's about half a dozen items we couldn't wait on.

Our first shower gift was a set of two enameled cast iron lodge pans from his step brother and step sister. Our first wedding gift was cash and a card from his boss who can’t make it to the wedding. It was cute because his nickname at work is “Chet” (our last name is Winchester) and that was his nickname when I met him working at a different job so the card said Chet and mrs Chet lol

Our first gift was bought the day we did the registry (I think by my Mom LOL) and it was the most expensive thing! The kitchen aid mixer!!!!!

Well we got a few gifts for our engagement party, mostly cash and gift cards and one beautiful serving tray from my aunt. For our first official wedding gift, someone purchased the set of wine glasses from our registry last month and we got an email that they're on back order so they're supposed to arrive later this month. So exciting! This person is from out of town but has verbally said they will be at the wedding, so I think it was just to get the gift giving part out of the way and of course not travel cross-country with glasses.

Our first gift was a variety of things from our registry - it ended up being two large amazon boxes and I literally had no idea they were wedding gifts until I found the note. We got a drill, a dry ingredient container, pyrex measuring cups, cutting boards, an oven mitt, cookie sheets, and a bear toy for our dog. It really did feel like Christmas haha
