I know someone mentioned about Registereing at Bed Bath and Beyond, and I worked there for 4 years. If anyone has questions that you may think to ask them about Registries or want more info before Registering there, please contact me. They really do treat you like Royalty when you Register. I highly recommend them. They offer so much more than a lot of other stores will, even now offering Incentives just for Registering with them and if your Registry is completed. You can literally walk away with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise for free from them. Their Return Policy is out of this world and your registry is your receipt and anything you decide you don't want or need you get Cash Back, not a Store Credit or Gift Card, but hard cash. They will keep their store open while they're closing up for you to scan items onto your registry and not kick you out of the store when they're getting all the rest of the customers out at closing times. If you get hungry most offer complimentary

You're welcomeSmiley smile I honestly don't mind letting everyone on here know the type of experience they're supposed to have at Bed Bath & Beyond when registering there and how different they are from a lot of retail stores that Brides & Grooms are supposed to receive from them and get the best experience out of it.

I registered there first for my housewarming when I bought my house and now as a bride. I have loved bed bath and beyond! Their service is wonderful and their return policy is exceptional.

    Beckie,

My fiance and I registered at Bed Bath & Beyond a few months ago, however last night he noticed that the flat ware he picked out was $64.99 per place setting and when he noticed that we requested 12 he couldn't understand why anyone would spend $800.00 for flatware. I tried explaning that the person who helped us with our registery is who recommended we request 12 place settings. Now that my shower is this Sunday, he wants to change it. I'm hoping that the customer service rep will be able to explain how registries work. Ugh! Well, if you have any advice for me to give to him I surely would appreciate it, thanksSmiley smile.

Hi, I recently got married, I registered with Bed Bath and Beyond and I wanted to share my experience.

I find it pretty ridiculous that after the wedding date has passed there is no way for you to log in and see who purchased gifts for you. To me, this is one of the most important aspects of a registry, and the fact that the option to buy more products and "share" your registry still exists, but that you cannot access information about who purchased items seems blatantly greedy to me, and not at all helpful to the customer.

I chatted with a customer service representative who ignored my questions time and time again and "hung up" on me when I asked if there was somewhere I could give general registry feedback, although I was very polite throughout the entire chat.

Overall, I would very much recommend going elsewhere to register for household items. We also registered at Sur La Table for kitchen items, and the prices were better, and the quality of the products was infinitely better.

Hi - I want to know or understand the return policy. If we get something off our registry that we no longer need, want or got duplicates of can we return for cash? I called a BBB store and they said they only do store credit. I'm hoping that if I have the gift receipt I can return for cash?

Anyone know of returned items and gotten cash back?

    Thanks

Bed Bath & Beyond WILL NOT GIVE YOU CASH BACK on registry items. This may have been their policy years ago but it certainly isn't now. We went out of our way to concentrate items on this registry because someone had told us that this was their policy. But we found out the moment we tried to return a place setting that they only give store credit. Now we're redirecting registry items to Macy's, Target, and Amazon, because if we're going to get store credit, we might as well get it at a store that has a wider variety of stuff. Think twice before registering here because this incentive no longer exists.

Hi, unsure if already asked but there are TONS of forums to search thru. If I return an item that was bought from my registry, does the buyer get a notice or email or something? I just don't want to be caught off guard if they do and question us.

How long does a registry last before it disappears?

I had someone return an item they bought off my registry. How do I delete it from my THANK YOU LIST?

Hello! So do you actually get to walk around with a scanner at the store? So much is online now, but I just want the authentic experience
