Food Truck timeline help

Krissy, on January 15, 2019 at 3:13 PM Posted in Planning 0 3
Hello ladies! I need help! I'm having a food truck wedding. The food trucks stated they will be set up and ready to serve dinner at 7p.m. ceremony and reception at at the same location. Can someone help me with a timeline? I'm not sure if I should end at 10 or 10:30 ... when should I start ? I want our ceremony to be short and sweet! TIA

We went to a wedding that had 3 food trucks for about 125 people. It was close to 2 hours from the time dinner started until everyone was finished eating. I would end as late as you can if you want to have time after dinner.

How many guests? And is there just one truck? How fast did they say they can serve people?

I would definitely do 10:30, 11 if you can swing it with your venue. More time is always better, especially when you're having people wait for their food. Food trucks are an awesome idea, I can't wait to go to a wedding with them, but it does add waiting time to the eating process.

Are you having a cocktail hour or going straight from ceremony to reception? If you're having cocktail hour, then the latest you could probably start your ceremony is 5:30 if you want to stick to the 7pm dinner.
