Food Menus

How are you doing your food menus? Per plate? Per table? Plated? Buffet? If you do a buffet do you still use food menus on the plates/at the tables?

We didn’t make menus since it was a buffet and ran out of budget for stationary. The buffet had chicken, beef, and veggie choices for a wide range of people, so we figured everyone would be fine. No one complained - just the opposite. They all thought the food was fantastic!

    Yes i like this post.
We will have menu's at each place seating, the food will be buffet but we'll have servers behind each food item severing.
I like for my elders to eat first so they'll be served while seating ,Then my bridal party,My husband and I will get served while seating also then my MC will allow my guest to go up by tables that way it's not a long waiting line. "This is my vision"

Ooooooo I like that! I didn’t even think of the order or requesting elderly to be served in their seats! I will definitely inquire about this with the venue coordinator. Thank you for sharing your vision!

I’ll probably do something like this! We are having prime rib and stuffed chicken our sides are a house salad, smashed red potatoes and brown sugar glazed carrots! We are also going to have apple butter and biscuits too! Our appetizers are crab Mac and cheese cups, veggie display and sweet and sour meatballs !

Oh mannnn that menu sounds sooooooooo gooooood! We initially went with Mexican but I remembered our venue coordinator saying we can mix and match so I opted for the bbq ribs, baked chicken and mix and match sides and tartlet in addition to wedding cake for dessert. They also have a bonfire pit where they supply the “sticks” so we will have s’mores kits.

How many dishes do you serve in the Buffet? If so, kindly share the menu list with me so I can show it to other family members as well.

Honestly I don’t know how many dishes I had. We had over 243 guests so I believe there were twice as many plates. I will have to try to locate a picture of it on the invitation.
