Chicken Marsala, baked pasta with bolognaise sauce, honey glazed carrots and smashed red skin potatoes. Those are options I think are good however you gotta know your crowd and know if there are any vegetarians. I’m having a big buffet with like a ton of options and it’s all heavy hearty food and we have no vegetarians

All of the options sound pretty good! I would say the Oven Fried Chicken, Roasted Salmon, green beans and scalloped potatoes. I think it also depends on your guest and what you all would like to eat. We are having chicken fried chicken and shrimp alfredo, mashed potatoes and asparagus.

Are they already booked? You should have been allowed to have a tasting before you signed the contract while you deciding which caterer to go with. What menu items did you try at that time that you enjoyed? What are your (and fiancé’s) favorite foods in general off the list that are pleasing to your crowd?

Our families and friends love meat and potatoes, Asian, and limited Italian. So we might pick prime rib with smashed redskin potatoes, chicken stir fry with glazed carrots. Your crowd may prefer something different.

We had a very similar menu selection and, after our tasting, decided on Chicken Marsala and Pasta Primavera as our entree choices.

I would do the beef sirloin and the salmon. Can’t go wrong with either smashed or roasted potatoes and glazed carrots.
