I sent the girl who is designing my custom invitations a note after NYE to check in and ask about the timeline and if she needs anything from me. I got back a very sweet (and infuriating) email saying that she is so sorry, but her company had decided to focus on wholesale and not do custom work anymore, so she can't do my invitations.
If I hadn't sent that email, it might have been months before she told me and too late to fix anything. This way, I have time to design the invitations myself, even though I'm annoyed about it. (Don't worry, I have a design background)
Okay, just wanted to pass that along! Hope it helps some of you avoid potential disaster.
