Honestly, I think fake flowers always look fake. Plus, they are often as expensive as real flowers. For me I was able to get a decent deal on my flowers so fake actually would have been more expensive. Plus you then have a bunch of fake flowers to do something with afterwards. Personally, unless there is a specific reason/special circumstance I just prefer real flowers all around.

I looked at fake flowers today at hobby lobby and I just couldn't pick any they looked horrible to me you still have time to call around and check prices for real ones

I think if you are going to go with "fake" flowers you have to own it and not try to pass them off as real. Something like ecoflowers.com is a cool way to do it. They are made from recycled materials and it's obvious they aren't flowers, but that doesn't take away from the beauty. Also, things like dried flowers and herbs like lavender can look really pretty and be relatively cheap.

Foam flowers look and feel so much more real than silk ones, for the most part. I actually have an arrangement of foam calla lilies and foam hydrangeas in my dining room and everyone thinks they're real.

I think fake and real are good options, it just depends on youèll wedding style, budget and options. Try shopping for both. No point in picking fake only to find out you canèt find the look you want.

Side not, itès aweful when people use fake flower pettals to throw or scatter on the ground at outside venues. Its impossible to pick them all up and you're just littering.

I'm partial to the Real Touch ones, but if anyone has a latex allergy, they're not a good choice for you. Here's the bouquet I made, I actually just took the picture. Smiley smile

They look and feel very realistic.
